After several years of distance, I stumbled on the White Wolf site the other day and discovered that they've published two entirely new games. I've done some rudimentary research on both and I was wondering if anyone at Apocrypha, or anyone else for that matter, has checked them out.

Scion sounds like it suffers from some mechanics problems. Possible Providence System candidate? And honestly I don't see any reason why reanimated corpses should have a Visage/automatic Mask of a Thousand Faces thing going on.

Ive heard of Promethean, it sounds lame.
Scion I never heard of, but just checked out and it sounds kinda interesting. I would pause to check it out if I saw it on a shelf, but to be honest, ever since WW "ended" the world of darkness and then restarted it, Ive lost interest in anything new by them.

I still enjoy the good ol days of the world of darkness, great games!
Too bad the company went downhill.

I think the WoD needed a bit of a revamp. Honestly, why are werewolves American Indians? And since when did any vampire have the power to mold flesh and bone? But yeah, "ending" it and restarting the same gaming universe with a few different names is a bit lame.

Back on topic, sounds like either of these would need heavy editing before it could be Providence-worthy.
